This Philly Cheese Steak Crescent Ring is a delicious and fun twist on the classic sandwich. With layers of savory roast beef, sautéed onions, and peppers, all wrapped in flaky crescent dough and topped with provolone cheese, it’s perfect for gatherings or a satisfying meal at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8-ounce) crescent roll dough packages, unrolled and separated
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ white onion, diced small
  • ½ pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
  • ½ green pepper, diced small
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the diced onions and peppers, and sauté until soft, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Arrange the crescent dough triangles in a ring on the parchment paper, with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the pointed ends facing outward.
  4. Evenly layer the roast beef on the wide ends of the dough. Top with the sautéed onions and peppers. Place the provolone cheese slices over the roast beef and vegetables.
  5. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling, tucking them under the wide ends to secure.
  6. Bake the ring for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
  7. Cut into slices with a pizza cutter and serve warm.
