Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1-inch Ginger, finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
- 2 Green Chilies, finely chopped
- 14 oz. / 400 gm. Firm or Extra-Firm Tofu, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1.5 cups shredded Carrot
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped Green Onion
- 1/2 cup chopped Cilantro
- Rice Paper
- Water
- 1.5 tablespoons Sweet Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Chili Oil
- 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled tofu, shredded carrots, chopped garlic, green chilies, soy sauce, turmeric powder, salt, pepper, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
- Dip each rice paper sheet in warm water for 5-6 seconds until softened. Lay flat on a clean surface.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each rice paper sheet. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly to form dumplings.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook dumplings in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
