Peach Lemonade is a refreshing drink that combines the sweetness of ripe peaches with the tanginess of fresh lemons. Perfect for hot summer days, this beverage is easy to make and can be customized to suit your taste. Enjoy it chilled over ice, garnished with slices of peach and lemon for an extra burst of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water (for peach syrup)
  • 1.16 lb peaches, peeled and chopped (about 2 cups chopped)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (regular sugar, brown sugar, honey, or sugar-free option)
  • 3 cups water (for lemonade)
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice (from 2 lemons)
  • Lemon slices (from one lemon)
  • Peach slices
  • Optional: mint, ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine chopped peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring often.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes until peaches are soft and mushy.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes at room temperature. Strain through a sieve to extract peach syrup.
  4. Juice the lemons.
  5. In a large pitcher, mix peach syrup, lemon juice, and 3 cups of water/sparkling water. Stir thoroughly.
  6. Adjust sweetness, citrus intensity, or dilution with more water as desired.
  7. Serve over ice in individual glasses, garnished with lemon slices, peach slices, and mint if using.
