A delicious and quick stir-fry that combines tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and flavorful noodles, perfect for any night of the week.

  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 200g chow mein noodles
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine the thinly sliced chicken breasts with soy sauce and honey in a bowl. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Cook chow mein noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced onion; cook until fragrant.
  4. Add julienned carrots, sliced red bell pepper, and shredded cabbage. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  5. Push the vegetables to one side of the pan. Add the marinated chicken to the empty side and cook until the chicken is no longer pink and fully cooked.
  6. Mix the vegetables and chicken together. Add oyster sauce and toss until everything is evenly coated.
  7. Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the pan. Toss with the chicken and vegetable mixture until well combined and heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve hot.
