Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • 1 rotisserie chicken – shredded
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Tortillas (flour or corn)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, and shredded cheese until well combined.
  2. Microwave the tortillas for 20-30 seconds to make them more pliable.
  3. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture in the center of each tortilla. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling and secure with a toothpick to prevent unrolling.
  4. Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry each taquito for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  5. Serve the taquitos warm with extra sour cream or salsa for dipping.
