  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 head of green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds, red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and marinate in soy sauce, cornstarch, and oil for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add chicken strips, and cook until no longer pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, stir-fry diced onion for 2 minutes, then add garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
  4. Add sliced cabbage and red bell pepper, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
