Ingredients

3 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon ginger
3–4 medium carrots, shredded
1 small head of cabbage, shredded or sliced into thin strips
Ground Black Pepper to taste
1 lbs lean ground beef
1 Tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 onion chopped finely
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 Tablespoons rice vinegar
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and finely chopped onion until the meat is fully browned and the onion turns translucent. Drain off any excess fat.
Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, ginger, vegetable oil, sesame oil, low sodium soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Mix well.
Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the beef and vegetables. Stir everything together and continue cooking for an additional 7-10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well combined.
