Ingredients
- 8–10 lb 4-bone prime rib roast
- 2 Tbsp kosher salt
- 2 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 head garlic
- 1 Tbsp herbs de Provence
- 1 Tbsp dried thyme
- 1 Tbsp dried rosemary
Instructions
- Prepare the rub by mixing kosher salt, black pepper, Montreal steak seasoning, and optional cayenne pepper in a bowl.
