Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 4 teaspoons garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs and milk until well combined.
  2. In a large plastic bag, combine the flour, garlic salt, black pepper, paprika, and poultry seasoning. Mix well.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in the bag with the flour mixture. Seal the bag and shake vigorously to coat the chicken evenly.
  4. Dip the flour-coated chicken pieces into the egg mixture, then return them to the flour mixture for a second coating.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet to 365°F (185°C). Fry the chicken pieces in the hot oil until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking for about 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
