Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons hot sauce
1 cup blackberry preserves
1/4 cup honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
Juice of 1 lime
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Arrange them in a single layer on the wire rack.
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
In a saucepan, combine the blackberry preserves, honey, soy sauce, hot sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and lime juice. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl. Pour the sticky blackberry honey sauce over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
