Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 (16 oz) container of refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese (soft, shredded, or diced string cheese)
  • Optional: Marinara sauce for dipping
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Open the container of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a 3-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  3. Place a piece of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit dough circle. Fold the edges of the dough up and around the cheese, pinching to seal and form a ball.
  4. Place the cheese-filled biscuit bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Brush the tops of the biscuit bombs with the seasoned butter mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit bombs are golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and gooey.
  6. Remove the cheese bombs from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, either on their own or with a dipping sauce of your choice, such as marinara sauce.
