Ingredients
Scale
1 green onion, chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
16 oz sour cream
1/2 cup chopped ham
1/4 tsp hot sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
16 oz French bread loaf
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, blend together the sour cream, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ham, green onion, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Slice a thin layer off the top of the French bread loaf and set it aside. Using a gentle sawing motion, cut vertically around the edge of the loaf, about 1/2 inch from the crust, to hollow out the center. Be careful not to cut through the bottom of the loaf.
Fill the hollowed-out bread loaf with the cheese and ham mixture, then replace the top slice of bread.
Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
Serve hot with the reserved bread cubes, crackers, or potato chips for dipping.
