Get ready to wow your guests with this irresistibly creamy, cheesy dip baked to perfection in a crusty bread bowl. Perfect for any gathering, this dip is pure indulgence!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped ham
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 16 oz French bread loaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend together the sour cream, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ham, green onion, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Slice a thin layer off the top of the French bread loaf and set it aside. Using a gentle sawing motion, cut vertically around the edge of the loaf, about 1/2 inch from the crust, to hollow out the center. Be careful not to cut through the bottom of the loaf.
  4. Fill the hollowed-out bread loaf with the cheese and ham mixture, then replace the top slice of bread.
  5. Wrap the filled loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  7. Serve hot with the reserved bread cubes, crackers, or potato chips for dipping.
