Ingredients
Scale
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package (12 rolls) King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1 large egg
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Fresh berries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice each King’s Hawaiian roll in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet and set aside the tops.
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, egg, and flour until smooth and creamy.
Spread a generous amount of the cheesecake filling on each roll bottom. Place the tops of the rolls back on, gently pressing down.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the filling is set.
Let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh berries, if desired. Serve warm.
