Cheesy Taco Breadsticks are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or appetizer. Filled with seasoned ground beef and a blend of Mexican cheeses, these breadsticks are perfect for dipping in salsa or guacamole. Ideal for parties or a fun family dinner, they offer a satisfying combination of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • Salsa for dipping
  • Guacamole for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent. Add the ground beef and taco seasoning, and cook until the beef is browned. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. On a floured surface, cut the pizza dough into 5 strips. Spoon the beef mixture evenly along the center of each strip, then sprinkle with Mexican cheese blend.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal the cheese and meat inside. Make sure to seal the ends tightly.
  5. Place the prepared breadsticks on a baking sheet. Brush each with olive oil. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle additional cheese on top of each breadstick. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with salsa and guacamole on the side.
