Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6-8 oz) beef steaks (ribeye, filet mignon, or your preferred cut)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness. Add butter, minced garlic, and rosemary to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks as they cook for added flavor. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped shallot and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Add the shrimp and lobster meat to the skillet. Cook until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the lobster is heated through, about 3-4 minutes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place the steaks on serving plates. Spoon the shrimp and lobster sauce over the steaks. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
