Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • ¾ cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ cups HERSHEY’s Special Dark or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 11 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate, creating an even layer on the bottom and about ½ an inch up the sides. Place in the freezer to set while you prepare the filling.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl by microwaving at medium power for 1 minute. Continue microwaving in 15-30 second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted. Let cool slightly. In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and softened butter at medium speed until light and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the melted chocolate, blending until fully incorporated. Replace the paddle attachment with the whisk attachment. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Spoon the chocolate mixture into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  3. Refrigerate the pie for about 2 hours, or until firm. When ready to serve, slice and top with additional whipped topping if desired.
