Ingredients
Scale
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup M&M's
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until well blended. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely.
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Beat in flour and salt until just combined. Stir in oats, peanut butter, M&M's, and chocolate chips.
Once brownies are cooled, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie layer and gently spread to cover. Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
