- 1 package of fudge brownie mix
- 2 packages of miniature Reese's peanut butter cups
- 4 cups of cold milk (preferably 2%)
- 2 packages of instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
- 4 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 cans of 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the directions on the box and pour it into a buttered 12×9-inch pan.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake the brownies for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out with moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool on a wire rack, then slice them into 3/4-inch-thick slices. Halve the peanut butter cups and set aside for garnish.
- In a large bowl, beat the pudding mix with the cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Add the vanilla extract and peanut butter, mixing until well combined. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of thawed Cool Whip.
- Layer one-third of the brownie slices in a 5-quart glass dish. Top with half of the halved peanut butter cups and one-third of the pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layers, ending with a final layer of pudding mixture on top. Sprinkle the remaining peanut butter cups over the top layer.
- Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for a few minutes before serving.
