  • 2 cups finely crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter, roll in crushed graham crackers, and freeze for at least 2 hours.
  3. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with the beaten eggs mixed with milk, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Roll each frozen cheesecake ball in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and coat with panko breadcrumbs. Return to the freezer for at least 1 hour.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C) and fry the cheesecake balls in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
  6. Drain the fried cheesecake balls on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
