Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sazón seasoning
  • 1 tsp adobo seasoning
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces, ensuring uniform size for even cooking.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the minced garlic, lime juice, white vinegar, sazón seasoning, adobo seasoning, oregano, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, tossing to coat thoroughly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and dredge each piece in flour, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the floured chicken pieces in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch, turning occasionally. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cooked chicken to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve the chicken bites hot with lime wedges on the side.
