Ingredients
Scale
8 oz block of full-fat cream cheese
1.5–2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
8 oz Olive Garden Italian dressing
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried parsley
¼ cup melted butter
8 oz chicken broth
4 oz heavy cream
16 oz penne pasta
Instructions
Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
In a separate bowl, combine Olive Garden Italian dressing, melted butter, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Place the block of cream cheese on top of the chicken. Cover with the lid.
Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or on LOW for 5-6 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Cook the penne pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain well.
Using two forks, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker. Stir everything together until the cream cheese is fully incorporated into the sauce.
Add the cooked and drained penne pasta to the slow cooker. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy sauce.
