  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sour cream
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning until well combined with the meat.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough from the tubes and layer it on the bottom of a 9” pie pan or casserole dish, ensuring to cover the bottom completely.
  5. Spread the cooked taco meat evenly over the crescent roll dough. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the meat.
  6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent roll dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and a dollop of sour cream if desired. Serve warm.
