These Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are a delicious and fun twist on traditional pizza. Filled with gooey mozzarella cheese and savory pepperoni, they are perfect for snacking or as an appetizer. Easy to make with pizza dough, these rolls are baked to golden perfection and served with marinara sauce for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce, plus extra for dipping
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce and arrange the pepperoni slices on top. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  4. Starting with the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds.
  5. Place the rounds on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each roll. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let the pizza rolls cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped fresh basil. Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
