Ingredients

4 tablespoons salted butter
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons Better than Bouillon Chicken
3 to 4 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
2 small yellow onions, finely diced
4 celery stalks, diced
4 carrots, cut in half lengthwise and then diced
½ cup flour
8 cups water
1 teaspoon onion powder
⅔ cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cups Bisquick
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
In a large stockpot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add diced carrots, celery, onions, and sauté for 10 minutes until tender. Stir in flour until well combined. Gradually add water and Better than Bouillon to make chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
Add shredded chicken, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and milk to the pot. Stir well and let simmer on low heat while preparing the dumplings.
In a separate bowl, combine Bisquick with salt, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Drizzle in milk and gently stir until just combined. Let the batter rest for a few minutes.
Using a spoon or scoop, drop spoonfuls of dumpling batter into the simmering soup, leaving space between each dumpling. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Carefully flip over each dumpling and cook uncovered for an additional 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
