Ingredients
Scale
2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 package puff pastry sheets, thawed
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into squares.
Spoon the peach mixture onto the center of each pastry square. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with the beaten egg. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
While the turnovers are baking, mix powdered sugar and milk in a bowl until smooth to prepare the glaze.
Remove the turnovers from the oven and let them cool slightly before drizzling with the glaze.
