  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped or left whole
  • 1.5 pounds chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 0.6 ounces Italian dressing mix
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • ¾ cup chicken stock
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. Add the chopped or whole cloves of garlic.
  3. Soften the butter and cream cheese in the microwave. Whisk them together until smooth. Add the cream of chicken soup (undiluted), Italian dressing mix, and chicken stock. Whisk until well mixed.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. About 30 minutes before the cooking time is finished, you can shred the chicken breasts using two forks. Continue to cook in the sauce.
  7. Just before the chicken is done, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions. Drain.
  8. Serve the cooked chicken and sauce over the cooked angel hair pasta.
