Ingredients
Scale
2 cans cream of chicken soup
8 oz package cream cheese (softened)
2–3 cups shredded cooked chicken
2–3 green onions (chopped – optional)
2 8 oz cans Pillsbury crescent roll dough
1 package Italian dressing mix (or 3 tablespoons)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium pot over medium heat, combine the softened cream cheese and both cans of cream of chicken soup. Stir until smooth and well combined. Add the Italian dressing mix, stirring to incorporate. Reduce the heat to low.
Pour most of the creamy mixture into a large bowl, reserving some in the pot to use as gravy later. Add the shredded chicken and chopped green onions (if using) to the large bowl and mix thoroughly. Set aside.
Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles and place them on a baking sheet. Scoop a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the crescent rolls, starting from the wide end and folding the sides in before rolling towards the tip.
Place the filled crescents on the baking sheet, leaving some space between each. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
Serve the crescent rolls warm, topped with the reserved gravy if desired.
