Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine Bisquick, milk, and egg using a fork until a dough forms.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts. Add 2 tablespoons of melted butter to moisten the mixture and set aside.
  3. Flour your rolling surface and hands, then turn the dough onto the surface and pat it into a rectangle. Roll it out to about 1/2-inch thickness.
  4. Pour 3/4 cup melted butter over the dough and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the sugar and nut mixture over the buttered dough.
  5. Starting from the long end, roll the dough into a log and slice it into 1 to 1 1/2-inch slices. Transfer the slices to the greased baking pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let the rolls sit for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, 1-2 tablespoons of milk, and vanilla. Mix until you reach the desired consistency and drizzle over the warm rolls.
