Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
