1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and brown sugar. Add sliced flank steak, ensuring it's well-coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed. Sauté onions, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
Return the cooked beef to the pan, toss everything together, and season with salt and black pepper.
