Indulge in the delightful warmth of Oven Baked Bloomin’ Apples, where tender apples are infused with buttery sweetness, cinnamon spice, and a caramel drizzle—perfect for a cozy dessert treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or your choice)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Core the apples, ensuring to remove all seeds and create a small well in the center of each apple.
  2. Place the cored apples on a cutting board. Slice down vertically from the top, making thin slices but leaving the bottom intact.
  3. In a small bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well mixed.
  4. Arrange the apples in a baking dish. Fill each apple with the butter mixture, making sure it seeps into the slices. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the apples. Cover the dish with foil.
  5. Bake covered for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until apples are tender and tops are golden brown.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the baked apples. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
