1 large egg
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add cream cheese and beat until smooth.
Beat in egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Flatten each slightly.
In a small bowl, mix ground cinnamon and a bit of granulated sugar (optional). Sprinkle generously over flattened cookies.
