Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz)
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon granulated sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. Roll out each pie crust on a lightly floured surface and cut out circles slightly larger than the diameter of each muffin cup.
  3. Place each pie crust circle into a muffin cup, pressing the dough into the bottom and sides, leaving some overhang.
  4. Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of cherry pie filling into each pie crust-lined muffin cup.
  5. Use the remaining pie crust dough to cut strips or small circles for topping the pies.
  6. Sprinkle granulated sugar on top of the pies if desired.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Let the cherry pie bites cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
