Ingredients
Scale
8 eggs
1 package (24 oz) frozen tater tots
1 pound pork sausage
1 1/2 cups whole milk or heavy cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the pork sausage, breaking it into small pieces until browned. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk or heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
Place a layer of frozen tater tots in the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the tater tots. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Pour the whisked egg mixture evenly over the layers in the pan.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the center is fully set.
