These Stuffed Cheeseburger Pockets are the ultimate comfort food – a delicious, cheesy twist on a classic favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tube (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 biscuits. On a lightly floured surface, roll each biscuit into a 6-inch circle.
  5. Place about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling, and press the edges with a fork to seal.
  6. Place the filled pockets on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
