  • 3 sticks Unsalted Butter
  • 3 tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 Lemon, sliced for juice
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the garlic, onion, and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.
  2. Add the Old Bay seasoning, brown sugar, paprika, red pepper flakes, chili powder, and oregano. Allow to cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve the sauce over your favorite seafood boil or use it as a dipping sauce.
