These salmon tacos are a delightful blend of flavors and textures, featuring perfectly baked salmon topped with fresh avocado, shredded red cabbage, and cilantro, all wrapped in warm tortillas. A quick and satisfying meal that brings a zesty freshness to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Tortillas
  • Toppings: avocado, red cabbage, cilantro, lime

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, combine cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  3. While the salmon bakes, prepare your toppings. Slice the avocado, shred the red cabbage, and chop the cilantro. Set aside.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave. Flake the baked salmon into bite-sized pieces. Place the salmon on the tortillas and top with avocado slices, shredded red cabbage, and chopped cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos for extra flavor.
  5. Serve the tacos immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
