Pizza Bombs are a delicious and fun twist on traditional pizza, featuring fluffy biscuit dough filled with savory ingredients like pepperoni and mozzarella. These bite-sized treats are perfect for parties or a cozy night in, served with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

  • 1 can (8-count) Southern Homestyle buttermilk biscuits, not flaky
  • 1 cup (257 g) pizza sauce, divided
  • ½ cup (69 g) mini pepperoni slices, divided
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 16 equal-sized cubes, divided
  • ¼ cup (½ stick / 57 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and spray a 12-inch, oven-safe skillet with nonstick spray.
  2. Remove the biscuits from the can and flatten each biscuit to about ⅛-inch thickness.
  3. Top each biscuit with 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce, 1 tablespoon pepperoni slices, and 2 cubes of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Fold the edges of the biscuit together, pinching them tightly and place seam side down in the skillet.
  5. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese.
  7. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of the pizza bombs after baking.
  8. Serve with the remaining pizza sauce for dipping.
