  • 2 tablespoons horseradish

  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pound chicken breast, pounded to 1/2 inch thick

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, paprika, salt, garlic powder, dried oregano, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir well, then refrigerate until serving.
  2. Place flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a pie plate. Stir to combine. In another pie plate, combine buttermilk and water. Pound chicken breast to 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, then dip in buttermilk mixture, and dredge again in seasoned flour. Place breaded chicken on a wire rack.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side. Drain on a wire rack.
  5. Drizzle bloom sauce over fried chicken and serve hot.
