Ingredients
Scale
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 packet Taco Seasoning
½ cup salsa
1 pound ground beef
12 6-inch tortillas
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons melted butter
Optional toppings: sour cream, green onions, additional salsa
Instructions
In a skillet, crumble and cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
Stir in the Taco seasoning packet according to the package instructions. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the salsa until well combined.
Heat the tortillas briefly if needed to make them pliable. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese and salsa mixture in the center of each tortilla. Add a spoonful of the seasoned ground beef on top of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
Fold each tortilla over the filling, burrito-style, to enclose it. Lightly spray a baking tray and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the filled tortillas on the greased tray. Brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and top with optional toppings like sour cream, green onions, or extra salsa.
