  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapenos (seeds removed)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Crackers or veggies for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, diced jalapenos, and chopped green onions. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix again until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Form the mixture into a ball shape. You can use plastic wrap to help shape and hold it together.
  4. If desired, roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans to coat the outside.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  6. When ready to serve, remove from the refrigerator and place on a serving plate. Serve with crackers or sliced veggies.
