These Honey Garlic Chicken Tenders are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that combines tender chicken with a sweet and savory sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a special occasion, they can be served over rice or noodles for a complete meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken tenderloins
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken tenderloins in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Cook the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through (2-3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside. Melt the remaining butter and repeat with the remaining chicken.
  3. Deglaze the pan by adding about 1/4 cup of water and scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let the liquid reduce slightly. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, tossing to coat each piece evenly in the sauce.
  5. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot over jasmine rice, noodles, or cauliflower rice.
