12 oz penne pasta
2 cups cooked chicken, diced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly butter a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Spread half of the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over this layer. Top with the remaining pasta mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the casserole.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
