Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs, or breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 stick butter
  • 810 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • ⅓ cup fresh parsley, minced

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cut the chicken into 3-inch pieces. Toss the chicken pieces in olive oil and the seasoning mix until well coated. Thread the chicken onto the skewers, packing them tightly.
  3. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in minced garlic and heat until partially melted. Add red pepper flakes, hot sauce, minced parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk until well combined.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the skewers, brush with the garlic Parmesan butter sauce, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Flip again, brush with more sauce, and cook for another 5-6 minutes, or until the chicken's internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Serve the skewers with a final drizzle of garlic Parmesan sauce and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan.
