Ingredients
Scale
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cups broccoli florets
1 pound fettuccine pasta
1 cup chicken broth
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and sauté until they are bright green and slightly tender, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue to cook until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth, about 3 minutes.
Return the chicken and broccoli to the skillet, stirring to coat them with the sauce. Let them warm through for a couple of minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet, tossing to combine everything evenly.
Serve the creamy chicken and broccoli pasta hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
