These Cheese Stuffed Crescent Rolls are a delightful snack or appetizer, combining the flaky goodness of crescent roll dough with gooey string cheese. Seasoned with garlic and onion powder, they are brushed with melted butter for added flavor. Perfectly cooked in an air fryer, these rolls are golden brown and crispy on the outside while being warm and cheesy on the inside.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 4 string cheese
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Fresh minced parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles of dough.
  2. Slice each string cheese in half.
  3. Place one half of string cheese at the wide end of the crescent dough. Fold the ends in and the top over, then roll up the dough, ensuring the cheese is completely sealed inside. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  4. Stir together melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  5. Brush the butter mixture over all sides of the crescent dough. Reserve any leftover butter for brushing on after cooking.
  6. Place the crescent rolls in an even layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  7. Air fry at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
