Ingredients
Scale
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2–3 tablespoons milk
1 box (14 oz) refrigerated pie crusts
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll one pie crust onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread the brown sugar evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle the cinnamon and flour over the brown sugar.
Unroll the second pie crust and place it over the first crust and filling. Press the edges together to seal.
Brush the top crust with the beaten egg.
Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the crust into 8 equal-sized rectangles. Use a fork to crimp the edges of each rectangle.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
While the bars are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl to make the glaze.
Remove the bars from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm bars. Let the bars cool completely before serving.
