4 large potatoes, peeled, boiled, and mashed
1/2 cup peas, boiled
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely chopped
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1 tablespoon coriander leaves, chopped
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
Instructions
In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, boiled peas, chopped onion, green chilies, grated ginger, coriander leaves, garam masala, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the potato patties until golden brown on both sides.
Drain excess oil on a paper towel and serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind chutney.
