  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache
  • 1/2 cup whole pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the flour and salt, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  7. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  8. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  9. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie base.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chilled cheesecake.
  12. Drizzle the chocolate ganache over the caramel.
  13. Garnish with whole pecans.
