These baked garlic Parmesan fries are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fries. Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, they are seasoned with garlic and Italian herbs, making them a perfect side dish or snack.

  • 34 large russet potatoes, sliced into wedges
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro (optional)
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a large baking sheet.
  2. Place the potato wedges in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat evenly.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle the potato wedges with Parmesan cheese and toss to coat. Add the seasoning mixture and toss again.
  4. Arrange the potato wedges on the baking sheet in a single layer, skin-sides down, and bake for 25-35 minutes until fork-tender and golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley or cilantro if desired and serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
